Do you know Nigorizake? Nigori means cloudy in Japanese.
My husband like a brewery’s nigorizake. That is Kita-Akita brewed by Hokusika. Akita is Northern Prefecture in Japan. It snows very much, is so cold. This Prefecture’s sake is famous all over the country.
This Nigorizake is not expensive, but the taste is good. So, he often buys it a liquor shop.
I wondered that I would drink it more fruity. Once, I challenged with lemon but the result was not good… Suddenly I had a inspiration! Cucumber might be to help to change better…
I sliced a cucumber, put it in a wine glass…
Hmm, I doubted it might not change tasty of sake.. But I tried!
Pour nigorizake into the glass… Oh, I did it!
I was so surprised when I drank it!! The tasty so fruity like melon! If you are not good at sake, let’s try a cucumber magic!
- 1 slied cucumber
- 1/3 cup sake 80ml
Put a sliced cucumber into a glass. Pour sake.
