We met an interesting sake. That was Kaze no Mori.
Kaze no Mori means forest of wind in Japanese. This was first time for my husband to buy the sake.
Kaze no Mori is a sake of Yucho Shuzo brewery. The brewery is located in Goze city, Nara prefecture, there is known as the place of sake’s birth.
My husband wanted to drink Kaze no Mori, because the sake is a famous as high quality. Unfortunately, he had not met the sake in this town.
One day, he visited a liquor shop, near his workplace when his lunch break.Finally, he met Kaze no Mori! There were various types Kaze no Mori in the shop.
We drank it in weekend dinner.
He said to me. ‘It is an interesting sake. It will be changing the taste after opening a cap. It becomes oxidized sake, but it doesn’t bad thing. ‘
First day, it was light. Second day, it became richer than yesterday! We were so surprised.
Akitsuho is sakamai. Sakamai is a rice for brewing sake. 65 means that rice-polishing ratio is 65％. For us, it was first time to drink a sake brewed with this sakamai. We liked this a lot.
I am sure that my husband buys Kaze no Mori soon!
